Samsung Galaxy M01 Core 32GB is a great deal for those with a restricted budget but willing to have enough internal memory and nice visual experience. Further, the battery capacity, the RAM, and the latest Android version make the device value for money. However, the camera setup and the processor could have been better compared to those provided by other brands in this price bracket.

Display and Camera

Samsung Galaxy M01 Core 32GB features a 5.3-inch HD+ PLS TFT LCD bezel-less display. The device offers a screen resolution of 720 x 1480 pixels, an aspect ratio of 18.5:9, and a screen to body ratio of 74.87%. It comes with a pixel density of 311 ppi, which is impressive at the given price tag.

The device has been designed with a single camera setup containing an 8MP f/2.2 primary sensor. The list of added features includes Autofocus, Exposure Compensation, Continuous Shooting mode, Digital Zoom, Face Detection, Auto Flash, Touch to focus, and 1920×1080 video recording at 30 fps. The front fascia offers a single 5MP f/2.4 main lens for basic selfie capturing needs.

Configuration and Battery

Monitoring the performance of the device is the MediaTek MT6739 chipset, running over a quad-core 1.5GHz Cortex A53 processor, which could have been better. A PowerVR GE8100 GPU is instilled for the graphical requirement and a 2GB RAM for a lag-free experience. To derive power, the smartphone utilises a 3,000 mAh Li-ion battery that provides a decent backup of up to 17 hours of 4G Talktime.

Storage and Connectivity

Samsung Galaxy M01 Core 32GB comes with an inbuilt storage capacity of 32GB that is further expandable up to 512GB. The smartphone runs on the latest Android v10 (Q), with Android Go Custom UI sitting on top. Coming to the connectivity features, it includes dual SIM, 4G VoLTE network, WiFi, Mobile Hotspot, A-GPS with Glonass, and v5.0 Bluetooth.
